Windows Debug System is a Fake Tool

Windows Debug System is a new fake Windows help tool which infects your computer and tries to force you to buy it. Once it infects your computer, Windows Debug System pretends to be an official Microsoft product which scan your computer and reports virus infections, registry errors and system slowdown. If you accept to fix the alleged problems, you get directed to buy the full version of Windows Debug System. Below are Windows Debug System removal instructions.
Typical messages received on computers infected with Windows Debug System are:
  • Warning! Security Alert
Software without a digital certificate is detected. System files security is at risk. It is strongly recommended to enable the security mode. Options are Deny, Enable Protection.
  • Warning! Security Alert
Suspicious software activity is detected. Please start system files scanning for details. Options are Deny, Enable Protection.
Windows Debug System does not come with an un-installer since it is actually a trojan. Windows Debug System blocks and disables your programs including your anti-virus, in order to make it that much harder for you to remove it. In order to remove Windows Debug System, you need to work around its blocking ability as follows:
  1. In Windows, click on Start and select Run. Type 'shell:appdata' without the quotes. This will open your Application Data folder.
  2. Locate any executable file with a random name, example swqpkr.exe (this file will be located directly in the Application Data folder). Right-click this file and choose 'delete'. Make sure that you do not open any sub folders of Application Data, stay in the main folder.
  3. Bookmark this page, you may need to refer back to it after computer restart (see next step).
  4. After you successfully delete the above file, restart your computer.
  5. Once you are able to delete the above file and restart your computer, you should be able to run your own anti-virus program to remove Windows Debug System. Update your existing anti-virus program and run a full system scan to remove Windows Debug System.
